Session Descriptions

Monday Sessions:

Stop Motion and iMovie Workshop
Facilitator: Carolyn Nichols
Stop motion (also known as stop frame) is an animation technique that allows the manipulation of objects, paper, or clay to appear to move on their own. The object is moved in small increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames is played as a continuous sequence. Stop motion animation using plasticine clay is called clay animation or "claymation." The animation is then imported into iMovie where it is edited, text boxes are superimposed, and sound or music is added.
